Hello and welcome into A Big Digital Hug, a marketing podcast for the modern entrepreneur who wants to take their business to that next level, for years, not just months to come.

content creation

Today on the podcast, I discuss Content Creation: To DIY or Not-to-DIY and where to look for help.

Everyone talks about content. Content is king. Content is a priority in ranking your website on search engines

Maybe you’re a great writer and content creation comes easy to you but for most, it doesn’t. The good news is, you don’t have to be a great writer to produce great content for your business.

4 ways to produce content to promote your business:

  1. DIY:
    • Write your own content
    • If your not a good writer, record a vlog or podcast
  2. Hire internally:
    • Hire a writer
    • Find people in your company that are trained and good writers or good on camera
    • Hire an influencer or create your own influencer by hiring and training a spokesperson
  3. Outsource:
    1. Hire freelancers (I use Upwork)
    2. Buy pre-written articles (an option is Constant Content)
  4. Hire an agency (Like us! www.digitalhugsmarketing.com)

If you are working to improve your SEO, or if you struggle with your social media outreach, content generation will be key for you. It is important to set up an organized content calendar and management system in your organization. There is a lot that goes into content marketing but the most important thing is to know where your content is coming from, that it offers value, and it is produced consistently.
