Welcome and great to meet you. I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Karen and I am the CEO and Founder of Digital Hugs Marketing. I am a passionate business executive and entrepreneur with 15 years experience in marketing, online media, start-ups, and business development.
I absolutely love what I do.
I would consider myself a creative, highly intuitive individual with an analytical process. A hybrid thinker if you will. I’m pretty convinced that’s why I’m so good at what I do.
I have worked in pretty much every facet of marketing. From my early days I specialized in publishing, PR, and e-commerce working for Umbra. Then moving into experiential and influencer marketing managing the largest home shows in the world.
From there I broadened my horizon to the world of digital marketing and online PR when I opened my first agency, Volume Communications out of Toronto, Canada. I worked with an extensive list of clients namely Microsoft, Mars, Pedigree, Ovarian Cancer Canada, and various others.
After moving south for marriage in 2014 I took on a managing director role with JBF Business Media and became immersed in the world of digital multi-media and SEO.
After 6 years and several life changes later, including being a single mom, here I am!
